Is there a generic name for stuff like the PC-Engine's HuCard, MSX's Bee Card/Soft Card, SMS's Sega Card and so on? They're all roughly credit-card sized (but thicker) plastic cards holding a small PCB, which usually just contains ROM chips. There's no particular standard, though - they all have different connectors and such. I believe similar cards were used for a few things other than video games, but they're obviously pretty much obsolete now.
I can only remember them being called game cards.
