well that site failed to give you the hint.
more clearly then: your battery is not functioning. it is broken or defective. this is very common for ipod batteries.
contact apple or buy a new ipod.

Theres loads of cheap chinese audio/video players on the market which are sold as "MP4 Player", but actually do not play MP4 at all. I have one of those (Present, lol). They usually suck. (wikipedia)
