I got the this Crashing Problem (6)

1 Name: 4n0n4ym0u5 h4xx0r : 2007-10-13 14:43 ID:nrM1PKeq

OK so if I own a:

CPU: Core 2 Duo 6420 2.13Ghz
Motherboard: Intel D946GZIS
2 gigs of ram (TwinMos)
and a Geforce 7900 GT 256mb

And every single one of my games, not to mention every other 3D Application crash after a short time lapse (Inconsistant) and it doesn't matter wether I use the highest or the lowest resolution and settings available.

What the Hell might the problem be?

Broken fan on the graphics card maybe? Otherwise, too little information, and find a local expert to look at it.

No idea, but it's most likely the graphic card. They're all shit.
Update your drivers, anyway.

Cpu overheating? That's an easy fix if that's the problem. Are you using a stock fan in a hot room, in a case with poor ventilation perhaps, or with no thermal paste under the heatsink?

I've got a 6400 and am OCing it to over 3GHZ with no overheating problems, this series is remarkably cool. Even if he didn't have any thermal paste, the stock gunk would work.

it could be either the fan or maybe the case. my brother had a computer that had really awesome cooling (even case-wise) but because he put it right next to his desk- the air had a hard time getting out of the case so he kept on crashing due to overheating problems.
