Heya guys, so I just bumped into this really cool, free paint program. It's really light-weight, and super-easy to use. The only problem is it's in Japanese, but it's so straight-forward, streamlined and intuitive that I quickly got a hang of it even without being able to read any of the text. Also, it's a lot easier to use than Painter, you can jump around the canvas, manipulate layers, and rotate the whole thing easily from the keyboard and the brushes are much easier to manage (of course there are far fewer brushes, really just one, smooth easily tweakable brush).
And it's .psd compatible to boot.

lol, the whole thing zipped weighs under 2mb!
proves you don't need to be a huge corporation to make more intuitive, useable software. Take that, Painter!
Apparently there's an english version here, but I haven't tried it.
Whoops ok, just so you know, so the program is officially not free.
It's a pre-release trial version with a limited number of uses, although until they officially release it with a pricing plan, I believe they refresh the trial period.
How can i refresh my trial period?
i also thought the program was free at first until i tried to make a lineart one day (which i mainly used it for) and it said my trail was over.
extremely upsetting ;; its a very good easy to use program and you can make awesome linearts with it i do recomend trying it as well :)
