Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy) - anyone else having problems with their wired connection? It doesn't work for me on either the live disk or my fresh install on HDD even though everything is fine on my Vista boot and was fully working on my 7.04 install.

I haven't had any problems like that, but NetworkManager is acting like a bitch, forcing me to reboot if I dare to alter any network related setting at all.

Try configuring your wired card with network-admin, if you haven't done so already.
