Does anyone have a link to the 128x128 default internal hard drive icon for Leopard? I'm running Leopard on my own computer, and I've changed the hard drive icon a while ago, and now I don't know how to revert it back to default. I have a Windows partition with the default hard drive, and if it's possible to simply copy over an icon, then I haven't figured out how... Help?

Hmm... sudo SetFile doesn't seem to be working for me. Does anyone know why, maybe?

SetFile is part of the Developer Tools, but if you're lucky you already have it without knowing it:

Thank you. However I ended up formatting for unrelated reasons. orz

Amazingly enough, every default Apple hardware icon is already located on your own computer, at least in Leopard.

For anyone curious, everything is in */Macintosh HD/System/Library/Core Services/CoreTypes.bundle--right click > show package contents--/Contents/Resources.

No longer relevant, but actually, you can remove a custom HD icon simply by selecting the HD, ⌘I, click the top-left icon in the "Get Info" window, then hit backspace.
