When I try to connect to a wireless computer on my LAN which I haven't connected to in a while, it usually takes several seconds to connect. This only happens when I haven't had traffic sent to it for a while. Once the connect is up, it usually works fine with only a few minor spikes.
This is a problem when connecting to SSH (from my Windows box using PuTTy). The connection sometimes times-out causing me to to hit the 'Restart Session' button and trying again.
Anyway, while this isn't a huge issue, I would like to resolve it (or at least preventing it from happening as often). Is this just a problem with Wireless networks or is there something I can do to fix it?
