ok im trying to learn more about routers and switches and ect. where should i look to learn alot...?

also switches are really nothing special, well a little more logic instead of hubs, but also not much to learn about..

right, if you are talking about unmanaged Switches. But Check out some manuals of 3Com Enterprise-Series switches to see what you can do with an managed switch. Layer3 Routing, VLANS, Link Aggregation, Spanning Tree, etc

you can download manuals and configuration examples from 3Com website. I´ve learned much from this papers
