First they're like, "hey lets put a camera on an iPod thats powerful enought to take video but disable it from taking photos!"
Then they were like "lets take away the camera and all the buttons!"
Now Apple is like "Hey lets put a video camera on the nano again but lets take away the microphone!"
Look at the first diagram, on the bottom on the screen of the Nano.
>Microphone None
First of all, the nano is dumb. It's a basic music player and costs US$149.99 retail. A Sansa player with similar features costs $79.99 and knock-offs can be had for half that.
I love the iPod touch despite its inherent flaw (being an Apple product). It can do a lot of neat things besides play music and it's easy to use. The nano is JUST a music player, though. If you only need a music player, why not get something that IS just a music player without the $50-$100 trendy label and stylish box?
We all already know that Apple leaves out features on one generation of products so they can add it to the next and call it NEW AND IMPROVED. Then again, who really cares if the music player you use on the commute to work can record video? If someone needs to take a quick video/photo, they'll probably reach for their phone anyway.
