Still, this ruins IRC for most people. What's the point of IRC if not to annoy idiots?
All this does is extend an earlier telecommunication law to cover the internet.
It's pretty much an anti-stalking law and won't really be enforced.
The biggest problem with laws like these is that they make everyone into criminals. Ignorance of the law isn't an excuse, but it should be, especially when you need years and years of schooling to understand it.
Well since I do not live in usa I don't need to worry about this lame law. So excuse me while I go annoy some idiots on IRC.
