it was made to hit in america.
who's watching?
At the moment I'm watching Anime-Empire's ep 4 and 5, and I must admit, its the first set of good kareoke that doesnt use the stock kareoke ( {\k} for you other typsetters), in fact I dont even think they are using SSA/ASS, which is a good change as their typeset looks very original and suits the series.
As for the series, I haven't seen the manga, however its pretty damn good. Is the manga licenced?
Beck would be great without the Engrish.
The Eng(l/r)ish isn't perfect, but it's a damn sight better then any I've seen in anime before. I'm happy.
As far as I know the manga hasn't been licensed yet. The manga was quite good, but not good enough to keep me leeching.

Thats Volumes 1-19 (!!!) of BECK. It appears its still unlicenced. I wonder for how long.
Hopefully long enough for them to finish. T_T genshiken...
I don't think Jinmen would have hurried up with Genshiken if it hadn't get licensed. They were just done with chapter 9 and that after HOW many months? Don't get me wrong, they did a fantastic job with each chapter but I think we are not exactly worse off with Del Rey providing a regularl release schedule (providing they don't drop it after volume 2).
