Just watched this movie (German dub, running on http://www.arte-tv.com/ - get that channel when you're in Europe!) and I want to recommend it. Pretty decent animation and style and a nicely told fairytale, sometimes almost a bit too poetic, but always firmly grounded in the violent reality that is essential to every battle.

The ending surprised me, but I won't say why, don't want to spoilt it. I don't think I'd even watch the movie again, but that means little. There are a lot of awesome movies who aren't to be watched more than once. I don't know if this is generally such a movie. But I think you should watch it if you haven't so far.
