I finished watching the last episodes of Futakoi.
Very powerful emotionally in the last episodes. Yes it's a feel-good anime, but the script was well laid out and stood strong throughout.
I liked it.

The next season features a "reinterpretation" of Futakoi by a different animation company.

Is that the trailer where it alternates between overdone tearful sentimentalism and "zomg it's the end of the world" scenes?
Then I saw it. It looks very different. There was no catalyzing cataclysm nor maudlin mourning in the original Futakoi, it was a simple and therefore effective love story.
But okay, we'll have to see how it turn out. I just love twins' stories. ^^
