I've watched Diebuster, but I don't think it was as good as FLCL...
No, it's not as good, but it's still pretty good. Episode 4 especially.
My favorite episode was the gun-centered Episode 5.
Episode 5 is the one that's easy to like, but on repeated viewings, the others start to outshine it!

PILLOWS ROCK!!! I think it is good that the one band does most (all??) of the music. It really adds consistency to the the mood of the anime. The fact they the band used for FLCL was Pillows is just awesome!
