i think US otakus are more open about it, like its more acceptable (sort of). dunno i hate how some people are way to hardcore in it, and like if they dont know something they try to guess what it is and sound all smart.

like i was at AX this year, and watching the music videos, and there was a music video for Fate/stay night and tsukihime (had game clips too from their games), and like theses nerds in the back didnt know what it was, and guess it was like Guilty gear or Fatal Fury, and i was like "wtf?", seriously please dont say anything or making assuptions if u dont really know what it is.

anyways, i try to keep my otaku-ness down becuase i know that the people i hang out with wouldnt want it to come out... i dont look like im otaku (cuz i dress nice and stuff), but i know a lot of animes just because i watch them during my free time and dl whenever im away (i have this habit that i must dl something while im out or i feel like i wasted good time to dl soemthing).
