Ok.
To start a thread, you should first pick a descriptive title. This you have managed. Next, you should provide the basic information about what the thread will be about. Links to official sites and/or informational sites is good, so people can get up to speed. A summary in your own words is also nice, for those who can't be bothered to spend the time to read your external links. Try to make it sound appealing, so that people will be have their curiosity piqued.
Putting all of this is the first post will mean it is always visible at the top of the thread, even for those who jump in at a later time. Next up, if there are specific issues you want to discuss, you can either post those in the first post, or in a follow-up post. Putting them in the first post has a tendency to make the thread focus on only those issues instead of a being a general-purpose thread on the subject. Sometimes, this is what you want, but more often than not a more generic thread is to be preferred.
Your own views serve as a starting-off point for discussion. Most likely, if you're starting a new thread, nobody has had strong enough opinions on the subject to start one of their own before. Therefore, your starting-off post will server as a seed for discussion, because the threshold to replying to already stated opinions is much lower than stating opinions afresh.
I should not have to explain, at this point, why posting "Discuss", all on its own, is a completely useless act. If a show is new and fresh, there might be enough interest for people to just start spouting off posts without much of an introduction. Even so, a summary at the top is nice to have. However, this is obviously not the case for Gankutsuou, which aired quite some time ago.
Your best bet, at this point, is to let this thread die and start a new one, and start it properly.
Peppo = best trap EVAR
Why? That was pretty stupid, really. In the book they didn't reintroduce that character, but now they have a character that looks and acts exactly like a girl, and they say it's a man once, and everyone goes SHOTA MOE~?
That's why s/he is the best trap EVAR.
I want to punch >>1 in the face. Yet I have no opinion on Gankutsuou, having never seen it.
I think it's the best anime with the theme of "Friendship." Better than shit like Naruto or typical shonen jump stuff. I mean given what happens in the last episodes ... whoaaa! i didn't see that coming.
