In before comments on my taste.
Azumanga Daioh
Bakuretsu Hunters / Sorcerer Hunters
Densha Otoko
Dokuro-chan
Evangelion
Godannar
Gurren Lagann
Iketeru Futari
Jungle de Ikou
New Cutey Honey
NHK ni Youkoso
Photon - The idiot adventures
Rozen Maiden
Might I add Hen / Strange Love and Kodomo no Jikan as mangas too.
I've seen some of those. I've been thinking about checking out Godannar but I'm not really sure.
Azumanga Daioh- If you go to any *chan site then you must have watched this.
Evangelion- Because if you haven't watched it then you can't praise/whine about it.
Rozen Maiden- Desu.
Cowboy Bebop- First Adult Swim anime, basically brought anime over to America.
>>3 basically brought anime over to America.
lulz. Does the name Osamu Tezuka mean anything to you? Ever heard of "Kimba, the White Lion" or "Astro Boy?"
PROTIP: The Earth, America, Japan, and anime existed before 2004. There were people watching anime in the USA before you were born, and probably before your parents were born.
>>4
And those were smash hits that more than .0000001% of the population watched?
I think you'll find a lot of people in America watched Astro Boy.
And then there was Sailor Moon ...
Densha Otoko got animated? Link or it never happened.
>>3 does not understand the purpose of this thread.
I suggest Gokusen. While the anime isn't all that hot, the two live-action series are awesome.
I liked Mushishi, Perfect Blue and Paranoia Agent, but that's about it.
>>11 The first live action is better than the second.
I just started watching Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai. Yay for the evil lolis
> Yay for the evil lolis
> Yay for
you are a 12 year old girl and I claim my 50 pence
There aren't enough evil lolis in Kai.
Lucky Star

That post didn't make sense anymore. At least the previous were complete sentences.
Biscuit
It tastes thoroughly and is ♪.
animays i liekd:
Gundam Wing
Love Hina
Bleach
Naruto (only the first half. after the time skip, read the manga)
Kare Kano (fucking cut short cause Anno was ad ick)
Evangelion
Densha Otoko (live action)
Digimon
Escaflowne
GTO
ROD
ROD TV
Code Geass
Prince of Tennis
I recommend Kare Kano, then read the manga if you want to know the rest. GTO was very good, there's a live action too if you can get a hold of it. Densha Otoko...you must watch it; very awesome. Prince of Tennis got me into playing tennis for a year; Code Geass is cool cause the lead is a badass.
And to throw in a manga, Iron Wok Jan is fucking ultimate.
Have a list.
popular: Azumanga, Haruhi
geek: NHK, Genshiken
relaxing, cute: Bottle Fairy, Kokoro Toshokan
comedy: Photon, Dragon Half, Excel Saga, Sexy Commando
romance(?): Honey & Clover, Lovely Complex, Emma
Quality: Mushishi, Kino no Tabi, Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, Kamichu, any Ghibli film
Kanon = All of the above
Your taste is sufficiently refined. Carry on.

Jungle De Ikou... heh. What an obscure anime.
Things I loved:
Yu Yu Hakusho
G-Gundam
Dragonball Z (I like it. Geez, just be glad I'm not talking in gibberish.)
Gundam Wing
Fist of the North Star
Kite
Mezzo Forte
Naruto (NON filler. You know, the stuff that stays true to the original.)
And I'm not exaggerating, there was this one Anime I watched when I was 4. It had an evil Shinto monk and his cult killing people, a cool warrior ninja, and it was about him traveling from Northern Japan all the way to the US Civil War Battlegrounds to find that bastard.
By the way, I somehow can't really get into romance anime. Is there something wrong with me?
> By the way, I somehow can't really get into romance anime.
No, you're just a teenage boy. Give it a decade or so, and maybe you'll grow up!
