Was browsing Amazon and remembered that I wanted to see Niea_7 back in teh day.

Box set: 71$ USD plus tax.

Ended up buying all seperate vols for a total of 29$ plus tax though. Was Niea_7 any good or did I just waste 29$? Reading up on it, it seemed like a really mellow anime.

It was mellow, I suppose, but also very interesting. A director or writer or designer or something from Serial Experiments Lain worked on this one, so it was very good.

Haibane was a doujinshi. NieA_7 was a pro manga.

OP here, watched all of it and ended up really enjoying it. B+ anime, would recommend/watch again.
