I think you're confused. This is not 4-chan. We are 4-ch. We are hikikomoris who don't leave their rooms to shower, let alone for some shitty convention. The only 'cosplay' we do is to dress up in our used school girl pantsu and fuku uniforms to masturbate and cry ourselves to sleep.

Futhermore, your names are a failed attempt at being 'kawaii' and and 'cool' and are mediocre, at best. This thread and you people are everything that's wrong with 4-ch right now and I suggest you leave immediately. There are thousands of other websites that cater to your tastes' and character, go fag them up.

I think that cosplaying makes a mockery of the character you are trying to emulate,
but thats just me.

Yeah, well, minus the crying myself to sleep part. But maybe it's because I'm still young and haven't realized how pathetic I am yet. Or that I don't care. Either way I quite enjoy masturbating in a school girl's uniform.

It's not just you. I feel similarly, it sullies the character, especially when portrayed by a fat loser like 90% of the ones around our area.

I think cosplaying is fine. It gives people something that connects them.

>>3 not all of us here are hikikomoris. And if someone here wants to use a name for themselves let them. You are nothing but a sad little flamer with nothing better to do that complain.

You're a poser. Go away, we don't NEED your kind here.

I like cosplayers at conventions and stuff. Never tried it myself though.

Well, I'm not a hiki. I did start to have some hiki tendencies after my father died, but my friends were there for me and really helped in getting me out of the house, etc.

I go to my local convention every year. It's like the nerd prom. I've never cosplayed before, but I love photographing cosplayers (and they love to be photographed).

Recently though I thought of some ideas for potential cosplay that could be done on the cheap yet look extremely authentic. I could get most of what I need from a mil surp store. The important part in making the costume would be to make sure everything is suitably thrashed.

It's no use trying to deny I'm nerdy anymore, and it seems like it would be fun, so maybe next year I'll put these ideas into action and actually cosplay.

There's also a lot of good canon detail imagery of the character in question, so potentially, if I went all out, which would entail building a mockup of a Type 68 rifle, I could be series-accurate down to a serial number on the weapon. (Aren't full page close-ups in manga wonderful?)

I cosplay when I can.
Unfortunately, most of my costumes come from ebay, because i have neither the skills or the material to make them. Plus it seems sacriligious to imitate a character in a substandard costume.
