i just finished lucky star and while the anime itself was enjoyable, it had no real plot to speak of. that aside, the ending was so abrupt. i thought they'd at least show the whole event and them graduating or something (if you saw it, you'll know what i'm talking about).

then i got to thinking about some of the other animes i watched and then i realized they sucked. some don't even finish and end on a high note (suzuka, kare kano, gunslinger girl, ichigo100% etc).

others' endings are just stupid (best example would be NGE, sadly).

some anime that i thought ended well were elfen lied, flcl, kimi ga nozomu eien, and saikano (i know there's more but i'll think of them later)

so i'd like to hear what animes actually have a good ending (good endings don't necessarily mean happy endings)
