I mean, i totally wooshed the part with the strange ship-like thing (what's with those statues?), though i do have some hypothesis concerning the death of the girl, and the egg. But the creepy guy is still a mistery to me.

I interpretated it more as personal growth issues, peter pan syndrome, a virtual and forced passage to maturity (I honestly interpreted the end as he raped her).
