throughout the course of neon genesis evangelion i always wanted to punch myself several times given the fact that shinji has the capability to get it on with at least three or more females in the series but instead decides to fuck around and be an emotional pansy.
this doesn't exactly make him the worst character however, because everyone in evangelion is fucked up in their own sort of way.
