Where has all the anime gone? (18)

I've been noticing that all the familiar anime places have been going mainstream and tearing off anime after anime as it gets licensed. What the fuck! They're cracking down like some kind of demonic nut-cracker! The only place that hosts some animes is megashiteo and we all know what that means (72 min cut-off point).

What happened people? When did this crackdown start and where will it end? I've been having to dig deeper and deeper into the tepid, fungoid bowels of the web just to get my anime fix.

It's just not right!

You can still find a lot of anime knocking around, boxtorrents.com, mininova.org, and of course thepiratebay.org are good places for anime episodes, manga is easy to get at mangadownload.net (although you have to either make 150 posts on the blog there or donate 5 dollars to get to the licensed manga) or mangatraders.com.

You just have to keep moving with the times. There are plenty of torrent sites still floating around (will not say directly which one I follow)

And they tend to get the really good stuff regularly.
Problem with the streaming sites is that the more popular they get, the more likely people are gonna look at them.

As such, the chances of a lawsuit is higher.

And trust me on this one...the last thing you really want is a lawsuit which could destroy the site and your personal finances.

Fuck that noise. That's almost a sure sign that you can get it for free somewhere else. Don't waste time or money on profiteering fucks like that.

Then again, that's how crunchyroll started out, isn't it...

Much better quality. The ability the choose which group to download from. If it gets removed from online you still have it in case you want to watch it again. You don't have to wait for shit to be uploaded to whatever site you're watching it on; shows are normally put up on bittorrent very fast. And did I mention better quality? The difference is really quite remarkable. Try comparing a streaming video to a good h264 encode. You'll see what I mean. The question should really be "Why watch it online when you can download?" Of course some people do have legitimate reasons, but if you have the available hard drive space and a decent internet connection, you're simply depriving yourself of a better viewing experience.

Can someone tell me what the title of that one anime where they explore cooking different dishes in a rice cooker is? Also, why are there no dog training anime? (*_* )?

Lol, corporate piracy. Both the consumers, legit parties, and even us who pirate lose with this.

Anyone know any new romance/drama Anime? I've been lost in touch in the Anime world. I've been playing video games these few years and I don't know what Animes I didn't finished or any new ones so far. I didn't finish Gundam 00 but I'm into that as of now.

Last time I watch was Myself, Yourself and it was really, really good. Are there any Animes out there like Myself, Yourself?

Aw crap, my bad. I was supposed to make a new thread. So sorry guys.

Oh and about this thread:
Mainstream is mainstream. Once something hits in public that has everyone knows about it already, it's not kool anymore for most people who used to know it underground.
