Recently, Microsoft gave it an "OKAY" to make an anime for the worldly popular and scum-sucking video game known as Halo.
Not only has Halo is receiving an anime, but also Marvel are creating anime spin-off of Iron Man and Wolverine.
Am I the only one dreading the fact of this anime-fication?
In Macross the pilot found all gamblers
Gambling machine equipped with a stick.
The Wolverine anime thingy really sucks. I really still love the original version.
The Halo animes were awesome.
And hey, they used REAL JAPANESE ANIMATORS for it, so you can't complain.
haha. you like certain animators just because of their country of origin. that makes you a biggot redneck.

Wrong. He likes certain animators for their organic styles - Japanese being notably different from American. Failing to recognize this, however, makes you a fucking idiot.
No matter where it's animated, if an anime-inspired series is done well I'd say it's a good thing all around
There's a Mass Effect anime coming out!
I don't know the specifics, but something that hasn't been illustrated in the media is some form of business alliance between the asia-pacific and the USA.
A Japanese friend of mine was telling me about it and that it will change everything, he seemed pretty afraid of it but I can't remember what it was called, it was a 4 letter acronym with P and maybe J in there somewhere, hopefully someone can enlighten me.
Excuse my tinfoil hat here but:
I think it's very strange that Tokyopop suddenly went out of business despite having titles like Fruits Basket consistantly be on top of the New York times graphic novel lists. Manga dominated those charts ever since the weeaboo boom, and now suddenly Tokyopop can't operate anymore due to 'piracy' yet other western publishers of manga are fine (albeit much quieter since then).
I don't know the truth, and I doubt any of us ever will, but I really smell a conspiracy here. I wonder if much like Hollywood, Americas comic book companies are trying to wield an iron fist of power. Ever since post-war USA (And even before), American Comic Book companies have had a surprisingly high seat in media power.

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
Tokyopop's management was pretty darn stupid.
I mean, do you think America's Greatest Otaku made them any money?
