Every single anime this season is "xxxxxx is a normal high school [boy/girl] who suddenly has something [magic/paranormal/scary/abnormal/a consipracy/alien/typical harem] happen to them. Everything after is filler. Please tune in!"
I know this same formula is being used more and move over the last couple years, and yes, I greatly dislike it. But come on, everything this season save for maybe two are this same genre.
And yes, there is more than enough anime clones of this same thing for it to be it's own genre.

Your argument is invalid.
Milky Holmes is awful. I'd rather watch generic high school anime than force myself through another series of that.
>Milky Holmes
>A bad anime
The fuck am I reading?
Milky Holmes is a comedy, it doesn't work for everyone.
If you are so concerned about the anime industry catering to otaku, stick to the shows you like and wait for the fads to change, it's not like you can do anything to change the state of the industry.

Yeah, that makes sense too.
So apparenly there is going to be a new .hack series or movie this season? Is this true? What's it called?
The one about samurai history looks good!
