I recently read a play entitled The Effects of Gamma Rays on Man-In-The-Moon Marigolds by Paul Zindel. I enjoyed it quite a lot and, apparently, my schools director likes it too.

He knows that what I want to do out of school is to become a director so he says that "He'll see what he can do about getting me to direct it next year."

So, I'm researching the play quite a bit so I can be a good director. From what I've read on Anne Bogart and her methods researching and "The Viewpoints" are main things you have to do. So, I was wondering if any of you had read it, seen it, heard of it or anything any of you might know about the play, and if so could you please tell me?

Read it several years ago. Don't know too much about it, my mom was in it in high school or college or something. From what I remember, it was pretty dialogue intensive and a little melodramatic at times, so it's probably mostly a matter of choosing actors who won't go over the top.
