Keep in mind that everybody has a different hair texture, if you're not Asian it's not going to work out for you, like a nigger trying to do the emo hair.

OP, check out http://bombhead.com/ - theres a lot of pics of Asian hair styles for both sexes and all lengths. But as >>6 said, everybody has different textures. Asians tend to have very thick hair so when Caucasians attempt to mimic their hair styles it doesn't always turn out.

If you have thick hair like an Asian, tell the stylist to cut your hair thin and kinda short and tell the stylist that you would like to grow your hair long some day.

Yes. It defeats the purpose of trolling.

I see no real insult here, only a helpful remark with humorous evidence.

Well, the emo cut looked authentic.

But the question is, why would you go through so much trouble to get a bad hairstyle like that, that even looks retarded on people who naturally have hair that way? What next, mess up your eyes staring at the sun so that you need glasses? (and I actually know someone who did that.) Heck, emo isn't even a black subculture.

I suppose my point overall was that it could be done, and don't be a racist.

As for you, >>1, try making up your own styles. Don't be one who follows but rather, one who creates. God speed.

I don't know why people want a Japanese hair style. I have asian hair and I would love to be able to have the Beatles' mop top without looking like a faggot.

If you want to do Lolita style hair, best thing to do is look up pictures, get ideas and apply them to the best of your abilities to your own hair.
What I've seen lots is the straight bangs with straight hair and/or Pigtails (if you're going for cute).
A good example would probably be Mana from the band Moi Dix Mois (And in former band Malice Mizer)...
Mana is huge in EGL and Aristocrat Lolita and probably have the style you are looking for.
You can easily go to photobucket.com and type in his name (Add Malice Mizer in the search, Mana has many meanings to the word XD) and it'll give you lots of pics and ideas.

It isn't easy for someone to right off te bat make up their own hairstyle. A lot of hairstyles in the first place have already been done. There are only so many ways to style your hair.
If she wants to go for a Gothic Lolita hairstyle, then she is welcome to do so and noone should judge her for being 'Unoriginal' or as a 'copycat'. It is a hairstyle, it is meant to be used by anyone who wishes to do so.

As long as if she can pull of the look though >.>
There are some people who get the haircut/style and it looks pretty bad...

gothic lolita ≠ japanese teen hairstyle

I agree with 18. Lolita hair and regular Japanese teen hair styles are very different. Japanese teen hair is heavily layered and straighten or curled. It is often also dyed/bleached. I think Lolita hair styles generally aren't layered like that. Long straight hair with the right accessories or more commonly ringlets with an accessory or headgear of some kind.

You can go to this site (http://www.rasysa.com/pkg/style/) and look at the styles you want, depending on length. But like other ppl have said, if your hair isn't the right texture, the hairstyle you want to attempt would fail/look bad/go flat, ect.

And anyone can do any hairstyle if their hair is the right texture/length. Regardless of race -_-
