Where to get cheap, good quality and fashionable clothes? (22)

Nice fashionable clothes are so expensive. I don't know how people afford to look good. I sometimes think if I have to be rich to look like that.
Any suggestion for where or how to buy nice clothes?

Garage sales. Thrift stores. They are your friends, and they like to help you save money. And this is prime garage sale season too, since fasionable peeps are going to be buying new clothes for this school year and need to get rid of their "old" ones.

if you want good affordable clothes i would recommend shopping online or going to your favorite stores when they have sales.
shopping online you get more deals and youll occasionally run into more stuff than you thought youd find.

ive never been to cali but in new york theres a whole area for cheap, good quality clothes. i found a shirt that was originally 120 dollars for 40.

You can have your clothes cheap and good quality, but not fashionable.

I agree with >>8 it does take time, but then you can have it be your personal clothes

There is a 4th aspect to clothes. Cheap, good quality, and fashionable are incomplete: it is missing your personal taste. A person could like the clothes, but the quality of the fabric is bad, and everybody else hates it.

Fashion sucks. Make your own fashion. I've found some beautiful stuff in second hand clothes stores, etc., there's something from every era so mix and match to suit your tastes. I've got a nice hippy vibe going on, and you wouldn't be able to buy these clothes anywhere else.

Time or money.

Money is like paying for a fish.

Time is like learning to fish.

Both can be combined.
