Awesome as a snack or on a salad. Plus, they're easy to toast and high in fibre and protein. Just make sure you keep them refrigerated.

Pine nuts are great for snacking on. I've never had 'em toasted though.

Capers are these tiny little green flower bud things that come pickled in spicy vinegar. They have an intense flavor that's hard to describe if you haven't had them before.

Just a few capers minced finely go nicely in tuna salad or coleslaw. They have a very strong flavor so a few go a long way.
