Before mid 2003, I was stuck with using a Cyrix 150Mhz, so I got a chance to spend a lot of time downloading (over 56k) and playing a lot of abandonware. Duke Nukem was always good fun.

Before that, was my Sega Master System. Goddamn. I spent many hours playing paperboy, sonic, and other various games for it.

Add Sacrifice to that list. The most amazing game I've never heard of. I started playing it two days ago. Just wow.

It's not oldschool, but it's abandonware. Probably because Interplay (RIP) went belly-up.

Yoshi's Island is awesome. It has all the platforming fun with only 20% of the frustration!

>>11 Yes! Someone who understands my feelings! (T^T) Yoshi's Island was the best, great graphics, full of secrets, fun and simple controls...

I'm replaying it right now trying to get 100% on all levels, including the bonus levels...! It's hard, but I know I can do it!! (>o<)

I was gonna say Sonic 2, Phantasy Star IV, Outrun or Pulseman, but then I remembered I liked Megaman waaay before I got the SEGA Genesis.

But what the Hell, everyone else's making lists.
