Speaking of used stuff... I really wonder what some people do with their games. I don't treat mine with any special care or anything, but they're all in pretty decent condition - most have no or very light scratches on the discs, maybe a few marks on the boxes if they've been left lying around on tables and stuff but nothing major.
But almost always when I buy a used game (whether from a chain store, independent shop or eBay), the disc is always covered in scratches, the manual looks like someone's wiped their arse with it and the box is scuffed to hell.
