Let's talk about the Ace Attorney series! (7)

Formaly known as the Phoenix Wright series (changed to comply with the upcoming lawyer Odoroki in GS4).

This game is most likely my favorite game of all time, and I have been playing games since the NES. Feel free to talk about anything Ace Attorney here!

To begin a conversation, I would like to propose this question to everyone, AA1 or AA2?

Personally, I enjoyed AA1 leaps and bounds more over AA2. All of the cases in the first were extremely interesting and well played out. The ones in the second one seemed stale due to the fact that instead of getting new characters with great personalities and a few returns, we just had returns and new characters with boring personalities. Another thing that bugged me about the second was the first case. It tried to cater to newcomers too much, and it made it too easy--a waste I would say. The only redeeming factor was the 4th case, but even that didn't match up to, say, the 4th AA1 case.

I played GS2 before GS1, and I have to say that GS1 was better. Even if you don't count the bonus episode, it seems longer. And the bonus episode feels like it's as long as the rest of the entire game.

I can't wait for 3. It's out very soon. Will it have English though, I wonder.

It's a great game, although I'm merely at case 5 in AA1 and haven't played it in ages.
