I played it on release, but my PC is pretty bad, I don't bother. Nude mod, thats about it. I used the editor to make Godlike items spawn, that was about it, I was constantly buffed all the way to heaven.

Still playing Morrowind, my pc is shit, and money goes to more pathetic hobbies then building a new pc.

Sorry for the lack of help.

I tried playing Oblivion, I couldn't get into it. It just seemed like a single player MMO to me. I suppose some mods could have improved it, but it wasn't worth the effort to dick around with them.

Single player MMO? Massively single-player game? Like Spore?

Oldblivion is a mod that lets you play oblivion on old computers.
Streamline is a mod that improves perfomance greatly.

I never knew about those. I can play Oblivion quite good on my current PC, but the performance could have been better.

I've been playing Oblivion a lot, but I don't use any mods. I think the game is as good as perfect as it is. I rarely use mods anyways...

I really loved Morrowind. So I built a new computer to play Oblivion spending $800 to get decent performance out of it. With today's hardware you can get a lot of that game at that price...

In a word... it's visually spectacular. I don't really "play" it, I roam around and just look at trees and the water.

I don't like the armor/weapon systems in Ob. Although, I like the magic much better. I just know everything (almost) about Morrowind, so it's kind of borring now.

I have to say, Morrowind is more fun but Oblivion is visually better and the story is awesome. Oblivion was kind of dumbed down for the consoles, and I dislike that there are certain characters that don't die. In Oblivion, you could go on a rampage and leave a whole town gone, but Oblivion has the stupid "God" characters... It's still an awesome game though. I use too many mods to count, to make it more open-ended like Morrowind, not to say it wasn't open ended. Just to make it moreso open ended.

(X_X) long post is long...

I built myself a house in the construction set. It was very nice, had multiple floors and a very big garden that you can walk through. That was a long time ago though...
I think morrowind was more fun, because you could go treasure hunting and actually find items/armor that were secret and powerful. In Oblivion, your enemies scale to you, and the loot scales too, so whats the point of finding Addy armor if it's everywhere, and everybody has it?

There's only one Oblivion mod you need, and it's the one where you get a new island by one of the shores.
The island is Japanese-themed, with Japanese buildings & items, traditional Japanese clothing, lots of different katanas, samurai armor, e.t.c.
