yeah, i got Jade in Turkey. i like it! telefang (the game it was hacked from) is already fairly decent, made all the better by engrish and profanity.
lost interest around the time its battery died and i lost my save. damn pirates!

oh and "Pocket Monsters 2" on the Mega Drive... i dunno who made it but they clearly put a lot of effort into the thing. all the sprites are original and well drawn and animated, backgrounds are nice (although they may have been ripped from another game i suppose) and it has genuine pikachu sound samples and MD-ified versions of some the japanese theme tunes. gameplay-wise it's...alright, nothing special, but still pretty spectacular game when you compare it to some of the irredeemable shite like Donkey Kong '99

I have the ROM, however due to being at college, I cannot upload it until later.

i too find them entertaining and funny to play, but with some exceptions... you may know these if you've owned any bootleg game boy games.

there are a few games that...i guess they are all made by the same company, they're all platform games that all share certain hallmarks... terrible music (sometimes just random bleeping), terrible controls. intro is usually a slideshow of scenes from the legitimate game. if the sprites aren't ripped, they look stupid.

a few examples... Rockman 8, Sonic Adventure 7, Mario Special 3, Pokemon Adventures, countless Digimon games. and even Thunder Blast Man (GBC version) by Sachen is like this, but i guess by this point sachen doesn't have internal development anymore so they probably outsourced to this pirate company.
