fuckin' monster hunter freedom 2 gets me :/
im stuck with congalala, fuckin ape just won't die :(
Fuckin' Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? is kicking my ass.
I died oh so many times before I said "fuck it" and gave up.
Final Fantasy XII - that "tree dragon" kinda boss after you chat it up with the vierra. I know it's optionalish, but dammit, I'm not going the long way around. It sleeps, confuses, darkness, a bunch of other things, and it spawns evil minions. I HATE YOU.
Only tried the mission once, but the current one I'm on in Prototype is pretty tough. You have to steal an APC to disguise as a military CO and then destroy all their Spectre vehicles around an infected hive - really tricky because every military unit within a two mile radius has a grenade launcher and an itchy trigger finger.
I've gotten stuck on Half life 2 more times than I can count. So I have to get a car battery, fair enough. Hidden ladder you say? Hm ok.
Persona 3. I've pretty much just gotten to Harabah, and with Mitsuru taking a break due to spoi-spoi-spoilers and random enemies with high-chance instant kills, its pretty annoying.
I was playing Ninja Gaiden Sigma and stopped because I got thrown out of a Fiend Challenge I'd been working on for several minutes. I hate that it restarts them when you leave the area!
Star Ocean 3. I'm at the beginning of a dungeon, and supposed to trigger an event by checking out a statue or something. But the event won't trigger.
I'm playing the entire DMC series for the first time, starting with 1. I've been stuck on the first boss for an hour or so now, which isn't really boding well for the rest of the game. Though I've at least gotten to the point where I -could- beat it, if it weren't for the shitty camera cuts and other minor annoyances that end up killing me dead.
Well, playing the new Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. I'm a bit of a crafting nut when I play so I have the parts for about 9 weapons I want to upgrade or make and that total comes to about 500k in game currency and I only have 15k :(
First battle of the finale of Valkyria Chronicles... Walking into the open is a hailstorm of bullets ; _ ;
Xenosaga - I like it - buuuut, my characters are just so weak in comparison to everything else. It wasn't such a problem till I got to the song of spoiler alert and every enemy there kills my anus by attacking way more than me. And you tell me I gotta run through this massive puzzle fighting god monsters all day? FFFFFFFFFUUU-
I just finished a round in Tiger Woods 10 at +6, and I was in first going in... now I'm 9 strokes back.
Not "stuck" per se but I'm pissed. I shouldn't have quit smoking, haha.
Phantom Brave
Not so much stuck, as I think I can do the next battle, there will just be a lot of characters dying. The enemies are a good 10-15 levels higher than my characters, and leveling up in the game is quite tedious. So I guess I'll be doing the stupid Random Dungeons until my levels are on par with the enemies.
VC is yen, I thought that was kind of funny...
>>15 Do you know the failure title trick? If you make a dungeon with the failure title you can kill enemies that are easily 100 levels higher than you and get easy levels fast.
>>15 There's also a trick on a certain map in Verdant Terra (I think that's the name). Whatever stage where there's a rabbit-man who levels up every round. Defeat all the other enemies, then let him level up for a while. After a while he'll be taking more and more turns to your 1 so it speeds up. Once he's really high level, you do a neat trick. You have to have a guy with Big Bang, and then just throw an item right next to the rabbit and confine him. Big Bang always does set damage regardless of defense, and the rabbit has no way to heal himself so he'll have as much health at level 999 as he did at 10 or whatever. Blow it up, receive hundreds of levels. It kind of breaks the game a little though because then you can just rely on one character for the rest of the game.
I did it to a Slime because they're cute ( ゚ 3゚)
Hmm, I'll have to look into these. Thanks.
I got past the part that I was stuck at, but the final boss completely kicked my ass, as he's like 30 levels higher than my characters. Though I think I could beat him if I summoned Ash last, but I need to summon him first to destroy the stupid rocks that make the boss invincible.
Not quite - you get no experience from beating the enemies in a highly leveled failure dungeon, BUT the items will usually have tons of mana for you to bottlemail steal, AND if the stage is high enough a level the rewards for finishing a floor are usually enough to level up the phantoms you confined.
I did the failure trick. I didn't have the bottle mail thing so I had to let my phantoms get removed and hope to get the items for mana. But the experience I got after each floor made up for the lack of experience killing the monsters. After I finished the dungeon I was able to make my weapons ungodly by combining them with the items I got from the dungeon. Afterwards I tried the final boss again and while he was still overpowered, I was able to kick his ass.
Thanks for the help.
Also, is there anything to do after you beat the game? I went back to the stage where the final boss was and all there was were mushrooms monsters...
Well, there are a bunch of extra missions to do. I think you may get a letter about them..? Regardless, there seems to be a new island that is on screen, where you get to fight Laharl and such. Fun times! Fallen angel Flonne is so cute.
Also, to get a bottlemail is easy (well, the FIRST one anyway) you get a couple phantoms up on the house, then you throw them ever so precisely onto the tree (in a stair case pattern so you can climb) and jump. three people about does it I think. When you jump, you'll get the change book and a bottle mail who almost ALWAYS steals what he's confined to after 3 turns. Pretty much the only way to get the snakish sword int the beginning of the game (sadly, no new game +).
FF4. I just lost interest in it near the end.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance - Have these two missions on the same place - but one of the laws forbids damage to animals. Guess what is in both those missions!? I don't have an R6 antilaw (Can you even get those?) I don't have doublecast (not an aggressive technique i guess) so the only thing I can do is go in there, use famrit to weaken them all, then stand around and get them to hit me while i counter.
another possibility is to wait a month or two for the laws to shift, but that's a pain.
The laws were one of the reasons I couldn't play FFTA. Its annoying and just plain retarded.
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA - Trying to obtain a GREAT/PERFECT in normal songs... is hard... especially when the notes are off beat from the song... Though the timing bars are there, I can't concentrate on them long enough haha... So I end up breaking my combos and fail to get enough points in the end...
Subversion - I actually got past that Song of Nephillim dungeon in Xenosaga! finally! I had to put Jr. down to like 1 hp, and have him wear the bravesoul and golden dice, but still it was nice to finally have it over.
Now that I have Erde Kaiser, I can plow through the rest of the damn game...
>>21
Oh man, I hate when that happens. That's especially bad for the DS version because it's so FUCKING SLOW.
YES, FINALLY!
I had left FFXII alone for several months because I was stuck trying to kill the elder wyrm with his sporefall cough bad breath cough. I gave up, tried saving enough for nahao bracelet, couldn't; tried leveling up further, too long; tried going the LONG way around to get to Bur Omisace, everything kicked my ass; tried getting Addremalach early, those damn horses in his cavern destroyed me...
Finally spammed like 30 quickenings and KILLED THE BASTARD. Oh, I feel so much better now...
I really wanna get a character on Aion to 50 but even my korean blood is against me playing that long. We'll see how long I stay dedicated or if the xp curve is adjusted.
Also I would love to play through all of X-2 as I have never beaten it but I feel incredibly embarrassed when I play it and turn the game off blushing.

Just watch a Let's Play of it. It gives you a level of abstraction so you odn't have to feel so weird about it.
Demons Soul's. Awesome game, but goddamnit man it's startin' to piss me off.
Fuck you, game!
Ys: Ark of Napishtim. PSP version. Fucking bosses are hard.
I'm playing MGS1 Snake's VR Missions in MGS2 Substance... It's hell, but I NEED to complete it. I've gotten this far and I'm not giving up now damnit.
I'm on variety level 3 (the survival mission).
I'm 97% complete with all of his missions, 99.6% finished with VR missions in general. Just this last mission and the last grenade mission on weapon mode (shudders).
Those damn tengus... I got passed them all, once, but then when I got to the genola stage he fucking punched me to death. WTF.
So now I'm stuck on the tengu stage again and I can't remember how I got passed them before ;.;
How anyone was able to beat Ring of Red (ps2) without cheating is beyond me. Not only are the battles insanely long, but the missions keep spawning more and more enemies!? God, even with cheats it still takes 45 minutes for each mission...
gameplay makes up for it though.
I'm stuck in WoW
I... I finished all the vr missions on mgs2:substance.
I did it. I really did it.
I think I'm going to put this on my resume.
"I see here that you... finished the VR missions in some game? That hardly seems appropriate for a position at-"
"Nah, man, you don't UNDERSTAND. There's this one mission, like, where you need to get at this thing in the center of like 8 guards in a tight circle, and you have to get there undetected. They're like 2 inches apart, onscreen. I did that, Man. I did that."
"You are hired."
I just reinstalled Delta Force: Team Sabre
I've had it sitting in my room, collecting dust, for about, oh... 5 or so years now I think. I can't remember now. Whatever.
It's so fucking hard... I played it when it came out, and it was fucking brutal then, it's still brutal now. Seriously. I never actually completed it when I first played it. I spent most of my time on the "mission failed" screen. I frequently had what could best be described as rage seizures. The gods of fate had mercy on me at the time and made my computer crash and everything get fried beyond repair so I ended up putting the game box up and forgetting about it until now.
But now that I've opened Pandora's box... I can't stop playing... I just... can't...
Oh the horror...
The horror
Wow.. I can't believe it.. I just lost the game..
Still playing Team Sabre. I'm stuck on the first of the Colombia missions.
Fuck. It' horrible. I clear the village of the smugglers, and then BAM a fucking ambush with gun-trucks and rpgs.
MISSION FAILED
And then that god forsaken mission failed song
de de do da da daaiiaiaiiaia...
And only THREE SAVES ALLOWED IN THE MISSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
oh god oh god oh god oh god fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuckkkkkkkkkk
Half-Life 2. It's not the combat; it's the fact that there's no apparent place to go.
Goddamn it Phantasy Star.
Do you WANT me to not go to another planet?
I WAS ABLE TO CROSS THE GOD DAMN LAKE OF FUCKING LAVA, BUT I CAN'T STOP DYING AGAINST THOSE DRAGONS!
AREN'T I SUPPOSE TO BE ABLE TO TALK TO THEM?!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!
Dante's Inferno...does portals at the gluttony part are just mindfuck....
Megaman 10; please stop raping me in the butt.
