Most 4-ch posters do not consider that a person from 2-ch will try to translate their posts.
When posting for greater comprehension to foreign readers, you must write simply, and with clarity. Also, you should avoid contractions and idiom.

It really depends on the context on how I write. If I'm debating with someone I am already going to be as clear and direct as possible as I do not want even other English speakers to misunderstand me. If I'm posting in /dqn/ I'm not going to give a shit(i.e. I do not care). If you do not understand my posts though, I would be happy to restate them, assuming I actually see the request. Maybe I should start putting an email with all of my posts?
I highly doubt that I am the only one that writes like I do. You cannot expect everyone to always post like this though.

A theory of why Yukorin's farts are memetastic for 2ch:
Yukorin is an idol who looks younger than what she is, as well as that she has a rather quirky personality. There's an issue regarding whether she's faking the quirkiness or not, and thus she intrigues not only the lonely blokes who want to fwap at cute, young looking girls, but also more. She stated in an interview that her farts smelled like vanilla (not as random as what it may sound, the interviewer was the one who brought the topic of farts up). The connotations of vanilla are congruent with the stereotype of cute idol girls, yet the absurd linking of vanilla scent to
farts is congruent with Yukorin's quirky character.
Essentially, it seems as if a lot of people try to figure out if she's "for real", and thus they enjoy poking fun at her/referring to her quirkiness, which is excellently illustrated by her vanilla-farts statement, and thus is the quickest and "purest" way of pointing at the quirky oddness of it all.
I wish to smell one of her farts and decide for myself.

Nah. There were a lot more in the past, and they freely mentioned this there, but after that some troll kept spamming the CiE thread with links to 4-ch in combination with acting retarded... Let's just say the japanese people got some rather bad associations and annoyed whenever people mentioned 4-ch, thanks to the spamming and holier-than-thou attitude the troll boasted. So, the ones from here who visited 2ch quickly learned to not speak about 4-ch unless asked, back in those days..

It was a bit more subtle than that. I think it was just some guy who was annoyed that people were touting this place as an "english 2ch". So he replied sarcastically, taking it to extremes. No one likes spam.

Nope, it still lives. However, by some reason it seems they switched to that you can't view the thread itself via FF/IE, as opposed to the board itself. It has been said however, that the threads are normal if viewed through 2ch browsers.

Over-advertising will kill us. Incurring the wrath of the VIPpers is a very bad idea. Also: Imagine a night club. Now, imagine some visitors constantly talking really loudly about how great another place is, and how everybody should give it a look... People will begin to hate that other club, because of associating the negative advertisement with the club. Also, the few who will visit it, will have too high expectations, and then go "Oh, this isn't at all that great. This sucks! >__< I wasted my precious time on this instead of having fun like usual!" and thus hate it even further.
