I actually had a dream the other day. I dreamt that I was in a very strange sort of school located in the downtown of some unknown city. Each department was a tall black skyscraper, and to move from one to the other, you had to cross very busy streets. I was terrified to look up, so I kept my head down towards the sidewalk or on a map. I was alone, I felt lonely. Each class I walked to had groups of friends and couples chatting and playing together. They seemed to be aware of my existence, but failed to recognize it. There were large staircases made of stone everywhere, with exotic plants scattered about. I kept wanting to follow a beautiful young couple, both of which had short hair and wore scarfs. They seemed so intelligent and in love. I could never catch up to them. I felt horrible for even being interested in their affairs at all.
