Closing this was probably a good idea. There is a "Sad thread" for this kind of stuff. There are tons of hikki threads. Nothing of value was lost by closing http://4-ch.net/general/kareha.pl/1158401598/ .

Perhaps, but the point is that threads have hardly ever been closed or deleted up to now. There have been lots of pointless and repeat threads, and none were ever closed/deleted... they were just left to be sunk to the bottom and/or saged.

Unbelievable. There was legitimate conversation going on in that thread, and, unless it took a drastic turn in the last eight hours while I was sleep, it wasn't breaking any rule in particular.
