Recycling CDs? (10)

I have a bunch of old CD-Rs with crap on them that absolutely nobody would possibly want. Is it possible to recycle these somehow?

I don't know, but you'll be much happier if you watch spark in the microwave.

I agree. If they're not too important to you, just put them in your microwave for a second or two. It's very cool to watch and it'll leave a funky pattern on the disc.

Glue them together shiny side out and then tie a string from the CD to the wall, all around your room! It'll be!

Build something! Use your imagination! Make a bunny or something!

I use old and/or AOL CDs as table mats, they look awesome when placed shiny-side-up on a table. A friend of mine also built a lamp out of some old CD's.

Break off certain parts of the disk and make them into shuriken.

if u break them... it won't work. u have to cut them VERY carefully to make shuriken. old cd's can -always- be used as coasters though! or make a table if u got enough, or a two way mirror if it has no print on the other side(shiny), meaning that both sides would be shiny(shiny). yep, u can see thru em(shiny! if the light is more intense on one side than the other(preferably just pitch black). --or-- as a last resort, use them for personal defense. ~.0!(shiny)
