(^.^) Let's take advantage of winter vacation! (21)

For most of us, at least in the US, we've got some form of vacation coming up for the holidays. The 22nd is the last day of school for me until like, January 2nd or 3rd, giving me something like a week and a half of free time, after family-related activities and all. But I don't want to just dwindle it away dicking around on the internet or sleeping, like I've dwindled away five hours today and most of yesterday. I want to take advantage of it.

For anyone else wanting to take advantage of winter vacatinon, let's do some planning in this thread.

I want to...
o Write an average of 1000 words a day throughout the winter vacation (I haven't written at all since Nanowrimo and I know if I don't force myself to pick up writing again soon I won't write until Nanowrimo rolls around next year)
o Watch some anime (most of what I watch on my computer is like, episodes of Scrubs or episodes of Penn and Teller's Bullshit, which, while entertaining, I don't really get into as much as anime. And I haven't been watching practically any anime recently except Welcome to the NHK, and it makes me very sad. So I want to start watching anime more.
o Play lots and lots of Go. (Anyone on 4-ch interested?)
o Watch some /good/ movies. (I've got Jesus Camp torrenting, which I heard was very good, and a few other movies I wanted to see. I want to finally sit down and watch through them all, before I lose interest. I have trouble forcing myself to sit down and watch a whole movie, but by the end of it I'm always glad I did, except when I watched Ichi the Killer, which sucked ass.)

What about you?

(After the new year ends we can turn this into a new year's resolution thread too.)

Title: Korean threats

As a humble Japanese citizen, I would like to tell you what is happening
in Japan. We are suffering a cultural harassment from those Koreans living
in Japan. Our national religion, Shinto, is considered as one of the most
important traditions in Japan. Recently, some Koreans threatened the chief
priest of the shrine in the Maizuru city and registered themselves as a staff
and added further three Koreans as a new staff for the purpose of tax evasion.
After they have taken control of the shrine, they destroyed the main gate
and left it in rubble. Odd thing is that the location of this shrine is right behind
where the JMSDF keeps ammo and only 7km away from the nearest nuclear
power plant in Takahama. There are many shrines in Japan, why would this
group of Koreans choose this particlar one for a tax evasion?
Imagine some ignorants takes control of a Church or a Mosque and damage
its properties. Imagine the place happened to be an ideal place to observe
military activities and also happened to be close to a nuclear power plant.
How would you feel?
Japanese media sees any crimes comitted by Koreans as a taboo and do not want touch them.
They are afraid of being accused of broadcasting racial attacks on Korean people.

Please help us protect Japan
