Well, we're two months into 2007. How is your year so far?

Average, sweet. No catastrophes, some good stuff, yet nothing transcending. Good overall morale.

My job is stressing me out quite a bit.

But nothing terrible has happened, really.

Nothing good, either, though. And I'm going to be in this slump that I'm in for at least another 6 months, probably another 18.

at, another year of school.

God, I graduated high school in 2003, and I'm still stuck at a 2 year.

Still unemployed, but I'm not depressed any more. I feel a lot healthier.

got a job but still kinda crappy

17 Name: Anonymous : 2007-03-09 16:11 ID:lOf6r4pN

I really need a job now.

I leave my house once a week for a part-time college course.

And then I come home and lock myself in my room.

My parents are really pissed at me now.

I'm just too lazy and apathetic to find a job.

This year isn't the worst year of my life... but it's pretty close.

I made a couple of really good friends. The kind who actually like me. Which is a new one, for me. ^-^

Update from >>3!

I'm totally quitting my job.

Basically I work with members of the public, getting their input about various projects. Now, members of the public are imbeciles, and I really hate this job, but I do my best and help out these people the best I can. Well, today I found out that one of them has lodged a complaint against me! These elderly shithead women who do nothing but complain and use up oxygen, one of them has complained about me.

Well, I could defend myself and keep working even harder to please them, but as I said, I hate this job, it's in a field I don't want to be in, and it was only meant to be temporary anyway. So I'm going to hear the complaint, defend myself (basically tear down whatever it is, because I have done nothing wrong), and then resign. I'm going to write my letter of resignation in the form of a poem.

This sounds bad, but I'm actually so relieved. It's kind of shocked me into resigning, and it feels so good to have decided for sure to resign. Hooray!

Sorry - just had to tell -someone-. It's sad that my best friends at the moment are you guys on 4-ch, you're the first people I tell my happy news to. I love you guys =D Group hug!

>I'm going to write my letter of resignation in the form of a poem.

Now that is an example of raw awesomeness.

Stick it to those bastards!

2007 is going very quickly.

For the past couple of years I've had an anxiety disorder of some kind, I would feel anxiety all the time. It would be subtle, in the background, but always there. I had a few panic attacks last year.

This year I had some kind of epiphany, and the anxiety disappeared. Now, I am unbelievably content and full of self-confidence. A new-found acquaintance commented that I seemed to have a zen-like calm.

2007 is awesome.

Slowly getting better... I've continued meeting new people, and having new experiences. Even though my job's in the same place, and no signs of going anywhere in the foreseeable future, that's better than nothing.

>>19 here,

They didn't actually take my poem-resignation letter. They told me to 'think about it for a while' and talk to them later, so I'll have to tell them over the phone. =(

It was a good poem, too. =(

Oh well, I'm quitting. =)

And, I think I'm going to move to Manchester/London, and get a cool job there for the next year.

We should make this thread like a "Tell us how your year is going, and tell us when big events happen!" thread.

>>22 - That's fantastic, and it's only March! Well done good sir, enjoy your stress free existence! =D

Shitty. I need a vacation.

26 Name: Anonymous : 2007-03-15 06:04 ID:rNx4MYoG

Well, I've taken my exam results today and it turned out to be not too good nor is it too bad either. Work is going fine with little to no problems at all. So, in a sense, the year of 2007 is satisfactionary, up till this day. One thing's left though. Nobody to share my days with. I'm quite lonely.

2007 has been alright so far. I certainly wouldn't trade it for 2005. That year sucked balls.

2007
It is certainly a very interesting year.
A year of self-analysis and self-experimentation (mental, nothing crazy yet)
Been to many places
Been to some important cultural events
Managed to get very high grades :)

There is still much more to come >.<
