i'm graduating from college tomorrow...but it will be a week before I'm be even be considered for a job. I'm still writing a cover letter and shit to deal with. This is transition i wasn't ready to be engaged into a year ago...and I'm still not today. What's funny is that i'm 20 and only been in uni for three years...i feel sad that I have to work full-time so early ;(

How about my fellow grads? What are you doing after the "big" day, whether you getting out of college, high school, middle school, vocational, etc.?

I'm graduating from high school soon. I'm not so scared of the whole freedom and independence bit, as I'm pretty self-sufficient, but I'm terrified to leave my friends, the people I've built my identity and value system with. The funny part is my life has never really had permanence, since I move roughly every three years.

I'm also going to graduate school. My reasons are that 1. I don't feel like getting a real job yet 2. I have no idea what to do with my degree and 3. I kinda want to go somewhere new.

I am 10 years out of high school and if I think back that was best time self-esteem wise. World was wide open and possibilities limitless. As time goes there is less and less choice available. If were you I'd try to figure out how to become financially independent - try risky things now, even if you fail you would have tried it.

>>9 Several states allow you to take college classes while you're in high school for high school credit. In my state it's called Running Start; and I'll be graduating high school 15 credits short of my AA.
