What are you going to be asking friends/family/Santa for Christmas this year.
This, except I don't know if it's coming out before Christmas. But material possessions aren't the spirit of this glorious Holiday; all I want for Christmas are my 2frontGETS.
I don't have friends and my family is too poor to give anything substantial. But I'll be happy if my girlfriend and I can cuddle for the holidays :3
I asked my parents for clothes. This was a mistake because now with like two weeks to go, I'm wearing rags to work. I mostly wanted to give them something easy and non-technical to get me since they feel obligated. On the plus side, maybe looking like I'm suffering will get me a bonus/raise...

No kidding? Now that I think about it, you were the guy who posted about it in Tech Support. Small BBS. I wasn't the poster of that thread, but thanks for posting it.

I put socks on my list because all of mine were getting holes in them, but I was given them early because I needed them so obviously. Christmas is a time for holy things, but even my socks? Jeez.
On an unrelated note, we just got the tree a few days ago. I got to decorate it with my girlfriend's family while we listened to a Frank Sinatra Christmas album. Her grandmother sung, in Latin, "Come All Ye Faithful." Her pitch is completely gone nowadays but it was still a good memory. During moments like that, it's hard not to feel the joy of the season. First snow of December today, too.
Anyone else have their trees up yet?

I do.
But it's actually two trees sprouting from a single trunk.
Skyrim! I put off buying so my Mom could be happy to get it for me.
I haven't asked anyone for anything, but my father is sending me some money. I'll put it towards the thinkpad x120e I'm saving for.
Asking for stuff is hard, anything specific I know I want I simply buy.
So instead, I asked for artwork, mugs, decorative stuff, anything that can have some creativity put into it. It helps that I have no taste for it so it's not something I can really do myself.

I already have my tree up.
In fact, I never took it down from last year, when my sister decorated over thanksgiving!
(it's fake, obviously)

I have a few Rothco shirts and they are crap. Like super-ultra-thin. Only good for the hottest days of summer. Just letting you know. I don't know about anything else they make to be honest.

Ah, thanks for telling me. I just got a 70$ Jacket that is tearing just from having my arms hanging in the pockets. I hate cheap material.
Really I just want the bag because...you know, it's that bag the medic has in that WWII game.
>Which WWII game?
All of them!
