This board has a lot of hikki's, shut ins, and otaku with too much time on their hands, right? Well, why haven't we organized more properly? With the combined strengths and talents of people with limitless time, why haven't we produced anything worthwhile? Sure, a lot of NEETs don't have the motivation to take their talents to the level of professionalism, but I'm sure there are some who would be able to help in an organized anonymous-created game or short film. After a couple practice runs, small groups could form un-anonymously and actually sell their products. In this way, hikki's could take over the (otaku) world!!
ITT ideas for projects.
ambitious hikikomori are oxymoronic.
...There's not much I can really contribute to something like a game or homemade anime, but I can sing really well. I've sung for recitals in English, Latin, German, Italian, and Japanese. I only speak English and broken Japanese, though... (^^);; If someone ends up making something, I can sing an opening theme or something! Of course, someone would still have to synth the background music... (^^);;
>>4 It seems I have inadvertantly discovered the method of italicizing text on this board. Oops.

Please also learn, inadvertantly or otherwise, how to not bump a thread by using the sageru or "sage" function. It would be greatly appreciated.
>>6 I didn't think it was important since I'd posted a post I wanted to "age" five seconds earlier. It was already at the top, asshole. But here, I'll conform to your super-elitest ways. SAGE IN EVERY FEILD.
Age, because I like the idea of 4-ch coming together to make something. An album would be cool (I think DQN Electronics sort of did this already, actually. I don't know how many of those people were actually 4-ch people though). Or a bunch of short stories. Or something.
Ideas?
i support this idea. though i'm not sure what i could contribute atm
I hear it's popular to create an RPG Maker game.
What we really need is something cohesive to tie whatever project we work on together. What do we have in common? We are 4-ch. What is it to be 4-ch?
2channel has lots of videos, songs, game mods, etc out there because they have an identity. VIPPERs are proud of their community. If we can't represent ourselves as a community, that means our identity as a community isn't strong enough.
Tell me then, what does it mean to be a member of 4-ch? What is our history, where are we now, and where are we going? Even 4chan has this vision of themselves as the "protectors of all that is win and destroyers of all that is faggotry on the internet". What are we?
umm, mittens?
How about combing efforts on some sort of story idea? I have an interest in writing so I would be for it, unless someone comes up with a better idea.

( ゚ ヮ゚) THE ETERNAL QUEST FOR MITTENS!
I'm sorry, your MITTENS! are in another castle.
If only ...
I'm up for the following:
RPG maker game.
Writing music (lyrics).
Writing short stories (possibly about the lives of 4-ch goers?)
Um... All tree at once?
I think a CD would be really cool, myself. Any other thoughts on this?
what about just masturbating furiously?!?!?!?!
I think the CD thing would be the best. We have a lot of musicians here, so it shouldn't be that hard.
Writing lyrics and singing is easy for me. If we could only find one or multiple people to come up with backing tracks and another to mix and master the final products...
Hikikomori self help book made by hikikomoris.
yeah brilliant! so we can all together become non-hikkis and leave this shitty thread and dump this stupid idea
I'm for the RPG Maker game. I have a lot of experience with the program, about three years worth. I know my way around it pretty well. What about a hikki magazine-like site? Like where you can post music, short stories, or even games relating to or from hikkis? That would be interesting.
>>22 The problem is 90% of hikkis don't have motivation for anything besides fapping to loli, watching animu, or playing vidya games.
In b4 Elitist Superstructure
And distribute it through torrents.
Maybe this idea would give them something else to do? It could even be the first step to recovery!
>>23
Not true. It's been weeks since I scared up the motivation to play vidya games.
hello im a shutin and its hard i cant breath cant see light and all i do is order shit i have no more contact with my family no freinds and no life I am a waste of space and im slowly killing myself... All i have is my anime, (H) and various chan for support. Dont become what I have failed My life is useless I should Just die in my sleep but Im afraid of death MY best wish is to have a hikki board so me and fellow shut ins cant help each other one day at a time...
sir this is the third time you have proven that you are in the wrong section of the 4-ch bbs
>>18
I like this idea.
Anyway I am avaliable almost 24/7 (not avaliable between the hours of 2am-11am) if any projects are starting I'd probably be willing to help.
let's make (1) a game that (2) features a hikkikomori that people can relate to "learn from" and that (3) also contains music and voice acting.
Although I have no programming knowledge, I want in on this! I'm a former-hikki, and I still have far too much time on my hands. Let's get something started!
I'd enjoy trying to contribute with visual art for this possible game, but I'm afraid most people in this thread likely have already left 4-ch in favor of real life.
I think the game should be about Grandpa and Junior.
Really? That's probably just myth. I bet most shut-in types are itching to do something, anything, WHATEVER, to make up for their reclusiveness and social ineptitude. It's called being able to entertain yourself, and long-term shutins/hikkis/whatever have to be pretty good at finding diverse ways of entertaining themselves within their comfort zone, if they can stay recluses for as long as they do. The less creative are the ones that get bored shitless, develop nasty neurosis problems and eventually are forced to spew their sickness in the outside world.
Would be good if 4ch were to do their own ambitious SMW hack or something like that. Be as overly creative as 2ch-ers are.
Does anyone actually want to do something or are we just going to talk about it some more?
>>40
What can we do to start working together?
Let's make a visual novel.
>>42
Sure, using one of those tools like Blade Engine or Ren'Py?
Cf: Welcome to the NHK!
>>42
Do we have any artist here willing to lend a hand?
>>45
Example of what I can do:

I'm sure there's much room for improvement.
But shouldn't we be getting writers first of all?
>>46
Writing is easy, and if nothing else we could always team-wiki write.
First of all, we need to decide on which concept we're going with.
>let's make (1) a game that (2) features a hikkikomori that people can relate to "learn from" and that (3) also contains music and voice acting.
>I think the game should be about Grandpa and Junior.
>other
The first idea was mine, so I would probably do more to support it, but if anyone else has any other ideas, we might come up with something better.
General plan of attack:
>>47
I think starting with the reclusion theme gives more freedom and more to work with. At the same time we could put in all kinds of references to DQN characters and other icons of 4-ch culture.
>If we go with the hikki idea, I'm thinking we can have multiple characters to play as, and a route for each.
..hivemind D:
It would also be awesome having their stories somehow overlap at times.
I feel the hikikomori idea is overdone but I think it would be nice to do it from a Western point of view. Everytime it's been done it's been from a Japanese point of view and we are (probably) not Japanese.
I'm good at drinking milk!
so, nobody else interested, or have anything to say?
I'm good at drinking milk too.
I'm very interested but we've already threw in a few ideas but are we going to act on it?
