How hard is Korean to learn? (11)

I'm kind of curious about it. I've read only very small amounts of info on it, but the grammar looks a lot like Japanese, except maybe simpler, and the characters look easy as hell to learn (remembering the order to write the jamo might be hard, but whatever). So: to anyone who knows or is learning Korean, how hard is it?

Korean is easier alphabetically, but in pronunciation is more difficult than Japanese and has more varieties in honorifics. If you learn Korean you don't need to learn Hanja (Kanji). But you might find some difficulties in vocabulary and stuff.

The Korean alphabet is very simple although it does not look like that. Proouncation and stuff is hard to do :|

I learnt to read Hangul this afternoon because I was bored and it seemed interesting.

.............I guesss I should learn some Korean now. I've considered it before, but it seems quite hard. I should have the chance to be around Korean speakers soon though, so that will help.

Generally speaking, Korean grammar is somewhat more complex than Japanese, though it shouldn't be as hell if you have a good grasp of Japanese grammar.

Right, you don't need to learn Hanja(Kanji), but knowing the Korean onyomi of Kanji will be helpful in advancing your vocabulary.

It's not hard at all. I grew up next to a Korean family, and the mom always taught me phrases. it's quite easy once you got the pronunciation down.
