Background: I went to the movies with this girl from one of my classes. She's been a great friend and helped me study a lot, we have a lot in common, and the "date" went pretty well. I put "date" in quotes because she asked me when I approached her in class "You know we're not dating, right?" I take a step back and see the classic dating sim menu pop up:
A. "What, do you have a boyfriend or something?"
B. "What do you mean? Wasn't that a date?"
C. "Uhh, yeah, sure..."
D. Put it in
Being the obviously quick-witted man I am, I punted and chose C. The real question is now, should I keep trying with her or give up? Moreover, how should I approach what she's said?
Dude....
If you play your cards right, you might up with a friend with benefits.
She's testing you. See if you'll creep out and be a stalker.
Play it cool. Don't be a hard ass, but play it cool. Eventually you'll both do stuff together. Be kind, don't be a doormat. You are both young with raging hormones. Let nature take its course.
If you get creepy on her, game over. Start over with a new girl
lol advice. stick it in her pooper!
I dunno, i'd try and clear it up. sound to me like you're on the course to the dreaded FRIEND ZONE. You don't want to be there.
if you really like her and she wants you to back off, get away from her. falling for someone that doesn't love you back only brings on a hell you can never imagine!

Yeah, I was thinking about basically cutting it off entirely (not referring to penis, although of a similar sentiment); I did that with a quasi-girlfriend before to some effectiveness. She doesn't seem like the type of girl that would swing for that, though.
My other option is to just throw in my cards and stay a reasonably disappointed friend.
Oh well, she never shaved her arms or legs (and presumably underarms). She's hairier than me O.o;
not cutter her off to make her chase after you, cutter her off so you won't end up falling for her and then watch as she goes out with other guys and sees you only as a "friend".

Yeah, that's what I meant.
Since when do girls shave their arms?
shaving arms is gross

Maybe she's denying herself. If she does have feelings for you, she might be nervous about losing you as a friend if she gets into a relationship.
Go on another non-date, but this time something more physical than movies. Mini golf, billiards, tennis, something where you can do the old "here, you do it like this" reacharound. If there's no sparks when you get close, resign yourself to friendship.
1, 13 is leading you down the road to disaster.
Reacharounds are obvious and are a good way to get kicked in the junk.
Play it cool. PLAY IT COOL. Just be all like "S'ok...whatever" but still kind of be there.
She's testing you.
2 and 14 (the same person?) have the right idea. Playing it cool is the way to do things.
