So I have a boyfriend since 3 months (haven't seen him 6 weeks because it's vacation). He told me he loved me after only on month. well, I think he's meaning it but I don't love him at all. After the 6 weeks during which I haven't seen him, I feel like I'm quite a lot happier without a boyfriend. To be honest I feel bother by him now. well I'm slightly coldhearted, but it wouldn't be ok to stay with him without returning hi feelings.
My mai problem is that don't know how to break up.

just say exactly how you think about it, if he really loves you and understands he'll let you go

but i tried letting her go, i can't seem to stop thinking about her though
the analogy for the process is something of a ladder, but i'm finding it hard to even move my desires down the next rung down, something about her being too cute, i suck i know but that's how it happens to be

this thread has taken a turn for the interesting

>>5 I suppose you are just a random guy happening to be on the other side of a problem similar to the OP's one. Are you seeing her casually (at work/school) often? If yes, try to invest yourself into some activity you'd enjoy (some hobby), even if you feel you do not want to - force yourself. Hope it'll help.

>>8 's right.

You either

  1. wallow in self-pity and longing for a year before getting better and moving on with life

or
2. Try to get over her now by doing what >>8 said. Picking up a hobby, getting a job, getting a new girl to obsess over, anything to get your mind off her.

Number 2 tends to be a little less harmful and probably a bit more healthy, but people consider number 1 more meaningful (I see it as a waste of time, personally).

And >>1 :
Seriously, you can't draw it out. That'll just make it worst. Just tell him off the bat, "I don't like you. It's not fair to you." He might say "Give me time" and crap. Just keep saying "I'm sorry" and leave him. Him being sad will not be your fault. Him staying sad will be his fault.

OP here, everyone said I should stay with him because he#s such a nice person, but still I don#t want to stay with him just because he's a nice person

Well, then don't drag it on...it's unfair to the guy if you continue to lead him on like this...and you are just lying to yourself AND him if you continue to do so.

STEP UP, BREAK UP!
