Frankly, it depends on the situation, but there's a pride issue about going back to your exes. You broke up for a reason, and it was a good enough reason to put you apart. Why the heck are you coming back now? 'Cause you're lonely? Heck, if you break up, and still love the person, why don't you ask, "why did I break up in the first place?", huh? It's just being irresponsible, if you ask me.
