I can understand your shyness though, i used to be really shy then one day i realised something. I realised that if i want something i just have to go for it. Simple as that. Get up, walk over the road and knock on that door.

It sounds hard but seriously. Just stand up now as you're reading this, move about or something. Now walk out that door.
