Hi,
well currently I like this girl from a foreign country, I think she likes me because of the sign's that she give, but we usually cant get into a convo, she will say hi and everything, but its like she is shy to start a topic, when I ask her to start a convo, she will ask me what I want to talk about. But sometime, I dont know what to talk about. Pls help me. :(

can she speak your language fluently?

just talk about what you'd talk about with your friends - what you got up to at the weekend, whether she's read any good books/seen any good movies recently etc. a good thing would be if you can find out if she has anything planned for the week and then asking her how it went after you know she did it (e.g. she says on monday that she has her driving test on thursday afternoon, so ask her on friday how it went and then lead into a conversation about your test or something along those lines and then let it evolve)

I guess I'm in a similar situation in which a girl likes me but we aren't too great at communicating in either language. I know a little bit of hers and she knows a little bit of mine (english). Talking in either language causes some awkwardness. I don't know exactly what to do. Last time we were sitting at a table and that's about it. It feels as if we're culturally separated though, but whatever... I guess this type of thing just takes time.

thanks for the response, well because she is in another country so we contact each other through chatting. Her english is understandable, but it will sometime need rephrasing, and usually I will teach her the correct method of saying stuffs ^^. She compliment that I should be teaching english because its good. I hope we would be able to get together. And she likes my smile :), anyway thx for the advice, I am accepting more ^^.
